Frequently Asked Questions
How often is practice?
We practice twice per week unless there is a previously scheduled event in the gym we are using. In addition to team practices, we also host group trainings, clinics, and camps throughout the year to provide additional development opportunities for our players.
How far are tournaments?
We strive to keep our tournament locations within a one to two hour driving radius whenever possible. This helps maintain convenience for our families while still providing strong competition.
How many tournaments do you play?
Tournament participation varies by season.
Spring season: 6 to 7 tournaments
Summer season: 4 to 5 tournaments
Fall season: 4 to 5 tournaments
Winter season: 4 to 5 tournaments
How long is each season?
Spring season runs from March through June
Summer season runs from June through August
Fall season runs from August through November
Winter season runs from November through February
What are the program fees?
Program fees vary by location and season. The typical range is $700 to $1,100.
AAU basketball is expensive to operate. Fees help cover gym rentals for practices, insurance, tournament entry fees, coach compensation, and media efforts such as photos and videos used to promote players. There are also many behind the scenes expenses that come with running any organized program. AAU is no different.
What is your refund policy?
Everyday Hustle does not offer refunds for early departure or injuries during the season. Our budgets are built around team size, and expenses do not change if a player leaves the program early.
In certain situations, we may choose to offer a credit toward a future season, but this is handled on a case by case basis and is not guaranteed.
What grades do you offer?
We currently offer:
Boys teams for grades 6 through 12
Girls teams for grades 7 and 8 in South Jersey only
